The AN-816 Alphanumeric Display provides a 16 character readout of a serial ASCII data stream (IRIG CS-6 compatible). The unit will accept either RS-232 or RS-422 data interfaces.
The AN-816 can store 100 messages. These messages are stored in a nonvolitale memory so that they will be retained even when the power is removed. Each message can hold up to 24 characters.
Each unit can be individually addressed to allow units to be connected serially to a single data source. When the unit receives a command with its preset address, it will display or store the message. A master address can be sent to allow all of the units to decode the same command.
The unit is housed in a rugged, attractive aluminum enclosure. The unit can be rack mounted using the provided rack mounting ears or ceiling or wall mounted using the optional mounting bracket (MB-816).
The unit is covered by our one year warranty.
